Founded in 1851 at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia, Alpha Delta Pi was the first secret society for women.

Hello!

My name is Gianna Smoot, and I am the current president of the Iota Gamma chapter of Alpha Dleta Pi here at UC Davis. During my time in Alpha Dleta Pi, I have been privileged to be surrounded by some of the most kind, genuine, and driven women. Whether it is lifting each other up, supporting one another through challenging times, or simply making each other laugh you all embody our sisterhood. The love these women share for each other truly represents the Alpha Delta Pi motto “We live for each other”. As I serve my term, I strive to reflect the love you all inspire me with.
